the Snell Law Firm is proud to announce that, on Wednesday, October 25, after a three-day jury trial in Travis County, the firm obtained a jury verdict in favor of its client, Myramid Analytical, Inc. The jury’s verdict awarded Myramid both economic damages and its attorney fees.
Myramid is a full-service environmental testing and consulting company based out of Dripping Springs, TX that does field testing and analysis to comply with EPA and other governmental regulations. In February 2016 and before, Myramid performed valuable consulting and field testing services for Defendant Vapourflow, LLC, an Indiana company. After Vapourflow disputed Myramid’s invoice, Myramid filed suit in Travis County to collect the unpaid invoice. The jury’s verdict ends a lengthy battle between Myramid and Vapourflow in Myramid’s favor.
Vapourflow had also filed counterclaims against Myramid for breach of contract and violations of the Deceptive Trade Practices Act, but abandoned those claims before submission to the jury.
During the multi-day trial, Myramid’s attorneys, Jason Snell and J.R. Skrabanek, presented seven witnesses, including two experts, to prove Myramid was entitled to payment.
After the verdict, Jason Snell stated, “We’re extremely honored to represent Myramid, which is a company made up of honest and hardworking individuals who should have been paid long ago. We’re glad the jury agreed.”
