J. Lynn Watson
Lynn Watson is a seasoned trial attorney with nearly three decades of experience. Lynn entered college as valedictorian of her high school with a perfect 4.0 grade point average. She subsequently received her B.A. from Trinity University in 1988, graduating cum laude and with University honors, having completed academic requirements for a double major (as well as a minor in foreign language). She received her law degree from The University of Texas School of Law in 1991, and was licensed by the Texas Supreme Court to practice law in Texas in May of 1992. Lynn has been a civil litigator throughout her professional career.
Lynn has been a civil litigator throughout her professional career. As such, she has successfully handled several hundreds of cases, including jury trials, bench trials and mediations. In addition to the minimum continuing legal education required by the State Bar of Texas, Lynn has completed additional training resulting her certification by the State Bar of Texas as eligible to serve as a court appointed attorney for guardianship applicants and in guardianship proceedings, including attorney ad litem, in the State of Texas. Lynn also serves through CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) as a volunteer advocate for children in the court system. Lynn is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.
